COLIN BRIGHT

Colin is a multi-disciplinary artist and designer, and over the last twenty years has gotten his hands dirty crafting functional and frivolous work in wood and stone, and his desk cluttered with projects running the gamut from tray liners for a local creemee shop to branding for destination resorts. Along the way he’s been responsible for bringing a pair of 20’ wide Groucho Marks glasses into existence, designed the World’s Most Attractive Restroom Sign, and accidentally tagged half a dozen pairs of new shoes with spray paint because sometimes you just can’t wait.

No matter the end result, Colin’s work has always started in ink, and after years of dancing around the subject he finally found a home at Sacred Vessel where the art will always stay in ink through the end. Visual details from the natural and built world are a constant source of inspiration, and while that may wreak havoc on his ability to navigate directly from point A to point B without stopping to draw a particularly fine cast-brass door handle, it also means that he’d be beyond thrilled to help coax your vision out of the air and onto the page. Especially if it involves dinosaurs.
